Job Description

First Century Bank is seeking a full-time Drive-Thru Teller to join our Commerce, Georgia team. This individual will be responsible for providing convenient banking services to customers. First Century Bank serves its local communities and would require an individual to be able to provide excellent customer service while efficiently handling financial transactions for customers using our drive-thru lanes.
Duties for the position include, but not limited to:

  1. Represents bank by establishing and developing a friendly relationship with customers.
  2. Provide services and respond to problems and inquiries.
  3. Proactively anticipate customer needs by recognizing, recommending, and delivering products and services within the scope of responsibility.
  4. Recognize other opportunities to benefit the customer and accomplish organizational goals while referring to other team members as appropriate.
  5. Verify information and process transactions, following established policies and procedures.
  6. Accepts deposits, pays withdrawals or accepts payments for the following types of accounts such as checking, savings, cash advances, consumer, mortgage and commercial loans.
  7. Continually maintains awareness of policies, procedures, and transactions.
  8. Follow security precautions.
  9. Places and observes holds. Informs supervisor of questionable situations or exceptions. Executes all required forms and logs in a timely manner.
  10. Balances daily transaction: balances Banking Center or special accounts as assigned.
  11. Maintains control of cash.
  12. Report outages to supervisor when discovered.
  13. Performs related duties such as: redeems savings bonds, loan payoffs, principal reductions, accepts fees and miscellaneous payments. Admits customers to safe deposit boxes. May assist in opening and closing bank, processing calls, bonds, processing night deposits and researching requests. Complete the form of a change of address and forward to Customer Service Representative. Accepts requests for check orders, and forwards to Customer Service Representative for processing.
  14. Prepares periodic reports and maintains required records.
  15. Performs such other duties as may be assigned or which inherently or logically belong with the position.

Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of six months cash handling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified individuals will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be driven to provide outstanding service to clients and other team members.
