Shift: Days/ 8a-5p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, M-F

Length: 13 Weeks

1 Weekday Call, 5p–8a
1 Weekend Call every 5th or 6th Weekend, Fri 5p–Mon 8a

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience
  • ARRT
  • BLS

Department – Interventional Radiology (Angiography)Cost Center – 107052Position – IR TechNo of positions – 1Shift hours - DaysMon – Fri, 8:00a – 5:00p1 weekday call, 5:00p – 8:00a1 weekend call every 5th or 6th weekend – Friday 5pm – Monday 8amSometimes shifts are staggered, based upon caseload and this is rotated and worked out between the manager & staff. Once the new start is fully oriented, they can be included in the staggered shifts and also take their turn at call.
Unit Details: This department supports a large dialysis patient population. Mostly fistulagrams, declot with PTA and mechanical thrombectomy, temporary and permanent hemodialysis catheter placements and exchanges. Nephrostomy tube and stent placement procedures. Lumbar and Thorassic Kyphoplasty. Uterin fibroid embolization's. GI bleeds. Arteriograms.
Equipment Used: Floor and ceiling mounted Seimens Axiom Artis units. GE Innova IGS 540.
