  • Job Details
  • Looking for a Clinical Dietician with at least 2 years of recent experience.
  • Mon-Fri in the hospital. Hours vary by census.
  • Works 1-2 hours remote on Sunday.
  • Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited College in dietetics, foods, nutrition, or institutional management.
  • Internship in hospital or other institution or other route as approved by the American Dietetic Association.
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
  • Licensed by the West Virginia Board of Licensed Dietitians required.
  • Schedule Information
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Care conferences in afternoon for Swing Bed patients, Cardiac/pulmonary outpatient (at Wellness Center)
  • Tuesday, Thursday - Outpatient, Contact/schedule outpatients (located in Meditech)
  • Daily tasks including discharge meetings at 9:00am
  • See inpatient (ICU, Med-Surg, Swing Bed, and Inpatient Rehabilitation) and occasionally ER when consulted
  • Chart on patient seen via Meditech
  • Complete MDS for swing bed unit via Meditech.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team
  • Unit Specific Information
  • General workflow for Clinical Dietician includes care conferences, outpatient work, inpatient care, chart management, MDS completion, and team coordination.
  • Monthly/As needed tasks such as Performance Improvement project, Maintain menu, Assist with kitchen needs
  • Additional Details
  • Government issued photo ID required.
  • Must carry Photo Identification during hours of service to client.
  • Please require if nurse is working on a compact license.
