Job Description

One of Indiana's top acute care facilities is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Manager Med/Surg to lead their medical-surgical unit and drive excellence in patient care. The RN Manager Med/Surg is responsible for the direction, supervision, and evaluation of patient care delivered by nursing personnel within the assigned service setting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices. This pivotal role encompasses oversight of daily unit operations, scheduling, staffing, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for the nursing team. Additionally, the RN Manager Med/Surg will take a leadership role in coordinating quality improvement processes, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring advanced, broad-based knowledge of nursing theory and practice, combined with strong skills in supervision, management, and leadership. This position offers an opportunity to apply innovative approaches to nursing responsibilities, build cohesive teams, and drive continuous improvement in patient care delivery. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing will make you stand out, with a Master’s Degree preferred, reflecting the advanced expertise necessary for success in this role. Current CPR and ACLS certifications are also encouraged.
