Schedule: Full-time, 3 12-hour shifts/week, rotating weekends



Shift : Days, 7 am to 7 pm



Location: 1000 Waterman Way, Tavares, 32778



The community you’ll be caring for: Nursing Administration



The role you’ll contribute: The RN Patient Placement Specialist works under the direction of the Patient Placement Coordinator to support the optimization of patient throughput. The RN Patient Placement Specialist will collaborate with charge nurses, patient care units, and physicians to ensure efficient and appropriate patient placement. This position will assist in posting room/bed charges and level of service changes.

Qualifications



The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



· Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Technical School



· 1 to 2 Years of Experience in Acute inpatient hospital Nursing (ie. MSU, CCU, PCU, HNVU, Ortho or Oncology)



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:



· Bachelor’s Degree



· 1 to 2 Years of Position-Related Experience



LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:



· Florida Registered Nurse License



LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:



· BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
