BayCare is currently in search of our newest Ultrasound Technologist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Axelrod Pavilion is located on the campus of Morton Plant Hospital. Axelrod Pavilion houses an imaging center, two breast centers and outpatient infusion services. Location: Axelrod Pavilion – Clearwater, FL  
Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No  
Shift Hours: Negotiable 
Shift: Shift 1, Days 
Weekend Work: Occasional 
On Call: No  

Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities: 

• Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. 
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation. 
• Other duties as necessary. 
• Have clinical skills appropriate to position. 
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills. 
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills. 
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position. 

Requirements: 

• BLS (Basic Life Support) 
• RDMS (Sonography) -within 1 year or ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - Relevant Specialty 
• Technical Diploma in Ultrasound OR Associates Degree in Ultrasound
