As the Assistant Nurse Manager for Endoscopy, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy Unit. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the highest standards of patient care, guiding and supporting the dedicated nursing staff. You will collaborate closely with physicians, the Nurse Manager, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of the Endoscopy Unit, providing guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Staff Development: Educate and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and hospital leadership to resolve nursing issues and implement hospital policies effectively.
- Quality Improvement: Lead performance improvement activities within the department and participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
- Patient Care: Maintain a patient-first approach, ensuring all patient needs are met with the highest standards of care.
- Operational Efficiency: Assist in scheduling, staffing, and maintaining the operational efficiency of the Endoscopy Unit.

Requirements- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting, with at least 1 year in an endoscopy role.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; proficiency with healthcare software and technologies.
- Certification: BLS and ACLS certification required.
