Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCPS Recruitment is looking for a talented CNC Machinist in Buffalo, NY Are you skilled in precision machining operations and ready to take charge independently? We're seeking an experienced professional to set up and operate various machine tools, producing top-quality precision parts and instruments.

Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
$26.50-$33/hr DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Setup, adjust, and operate a range of basic to advanced machine tools for precision machining.
  • Utilize mathematical knowledge and precision instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
  • Machine parts according to specifications using lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Inspect completed units, detect defects, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Analyze blueprints and engineering information to determine fabrication methods and product dimensions.
  • Maintain machines, diagnose malfunctions, and conduct necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to exchange technical information.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Machine Operation, Programming, Precision Measurement, and CNC Programming
  • Familiarity with computer systems for operations and maintenance
  • Understanding of regulated industries, medical device manufacturing, and world-class manufacturing is advantageous
  • High school diploma/GED required; an Associate's degree or technical certification is a plus
  • Journeyman certification preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education/training
