Seeking an energetic cath lab RN to come joint our team today. We have exciting, Great Paying opportunities across the U.S. Both Local and Travel candidates are welcome to apply. Contract position to start ASAP 13 weeks with option to extend. Ideal candidate will be an ICU trained RN for cath lab and abile to cover PACU when not scheduled for cases. This is a 13 week contract with option to extend. Shift: 12 hour nightshift.

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities: Perform a coronary angiography Measure the pressure and flow of blood to the heart Take blood samples from each chamber of the heart to measure oxygen levels Prepare patients for procedures Administer medications Assist in the diagnosis of heart disease of the heart muscle, valves, or coronary arteries Perform patient examinations pre and post-catheterization Monitor patients' sedation levels during and after the procedure Perform procedures like implantation of pacemakers, balloon valvuloplasty, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and heart ablation Monitor and document vital signs and look for signs and symptoms of infection Educate patients on medications, healthy lifestyle, and how to care for the surgical site before discharging them.

This position is for cath lab/EP lab and will cover PACU when not scheduled on cases

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

BSN preferred

2 years cardiac cath lab experience

1-2 years ICU experience

CT RN lLicense or pending

BLS (AHA)

ACLS

Proof of right to work in the United States

English
