  • The purpose of the position is to perform diagnostic CT and radiographic examinations, ensuring image quality, patient safety, radiation safety, patient and physician satisfaction.
  • Performs all CT examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
  • Performs all Radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
  • Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, communicates pertinent data to care team post-procedure.
  • Monitors inventory of supplies and maintains cleanliness and stock in the exam room.
  • Identifies each patient, reviews exam orders, and ensures consistency of all demographic information.
  • Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and the health care team.
  • Adheres to department policies, safety, environmental standards, and infection control standards.
  • Has a working knowledge of Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems for patient documentation.
  • Demonstrates principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  • Meets the physical demands commonly encountered in the healthcare environment.
  • Job Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience preferred, healthcare setting experience required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Computed Tomography (CT) credentials: R.T.(R )(CT)(ARRT) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Must obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days for job-specific competencies.
  • Must possess proficiency in the English language.
  • Schedule Information
  • 13 weeks contract length
  • Shifts are days
  • Schedule is 3x12 hours

  • Travelers may be required to float to local facilities
