Hourly Pay: $18-$22/hr. (Based on Experience)

Summary

Kelly Engineering is seeking a qualified Quality Technician for our client in Tempe, AZ for a contract to hire role.

Our client has an exciting opportunity due to company growth for a self-motivated, results-oriented, Quality Technician to perform various quality documentation and review functions. 

Responsibilities

  • \t
  • Performing quality reviews of documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
    \t
  • Completing customer required documentation.
    \t
  • Taking photos of completed assemblies.



  • \t
  • Assisting in investigations of customer complaints regarding quality.
    \t
  • Preparing first article reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
    \t
  • Participating in internal audits.

Qualifications


  • \t
  • 1+ year of relevant Quality experience.
    \t
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.



  • \t
  • Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, schematics and other documentation as necessary.
    \t
  • Strong communication skills
    \t
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.
    \t
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a permanent right to work visa (green card). 

Work Environment

The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present.  Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas. The interviewing process includes completing an employment application and consent form to obtain background information.  All offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen.
