Coordinates patient care with other departments
Evaluates effectiveness of staff and unit performance

Reviews existing clinical data, collects additional data and recommends obtainingSelects, assembles, and checks all equipment used in providing respiratory careInitiates, conducts, and modifies prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic proceduresMaintains patient records and communicates relevant information to members of the health care teamFunctions as "team leader" on assigned shifts to assure quality care is givenContinues with self-developmentPromotes a positive image of department and selfProvides age appropriate care to all patients
Reports to: Director
Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline □ RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
