Seidman is a 30 bed surgical oncology / MICU stepdown unit. We specialize in whipple/pancreacticduodenectomy procedures, gynecologic cancers,  brachytherapy, breast cancer, plastic surgery, and has 6 designated MICU stepdown beds. Our staff are specifically trained to care for whipple patients so that they come from the PACU and bypass the ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

A Brief Overview
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications



  • Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or


  • (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required


  • (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred


  • Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or


  • (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required or


  • (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred



Skills and Abilities
