Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years experience required
Traveler Experience: 1st time travelers accepted
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Does not accept candidates within 50 miles of facility
Skills: Non Trauma Emergency Department, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Ventilated patientsTriage
Certs: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Cerner, TNCC, Charge Experience
JOB DETAILS:
Target Ratios: 1:4
Shift: 3 or 4x 12 Nights 18:45-07:15
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO FLOAT TO ED HOLDING
Weekend Requirement: No guarantee for weekends off. However we work really hard for a fair schedule
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Wide range of patients from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. Most of the area is economically depressed. We are a level 2 trauma center, Chest pain center, primary stroke center.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Level 2 trauma center with 4 Critical care bays. Teleneurology for stroke in cooperation with Mass General Hospital

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: US, bladder scanner, neuro tele computer, Care Aware hand held devices
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Cerner first net, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours
SCRUBS: Navy Blue
