X-ray Tech: 11:00pm-7:30am (5x8)

Hours Per Week: 40, 5x8
Pay Breakdown: NO LOCAL TALENT
X-ray Tech: $24.65 hr, $36.98 OT, $1,344 PD = $2,330 weekly gross
OR X-ray Tech: $31.23 hr, $46.85 OT, $1,344 PD = $2,593 weekly gross
Contract Length: 13 weeks
On Call: OR only (rotation between OR techs - a schedule is followed)
Required experience for both positions: 3 years as a Radiologic Tech, current Level I trauma experience
Only interested in candidates where Diagnostic Radiology is their primary/only discipline (no CT, MRI or Nuc Med Techs please)
Highly preferred experience for both positions: GI/GU Fluroscopy, OR and use of the Carestream portable X-ray machine
OR REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: experienced traveler with sound Level I trauma OR experience. Must have proficient skills operating the O-arm, 3-D c-arms and perform complex pelvic cases
Licensure: ARRT
Certifications: BLS
Equipment used: Carestream portable x-ray machine, Siemens, GE and Phillips
EMR: Cerner

Travelers from any of these institutions or similar are ideal for the environment at UAB Hospital Main. They will most likely have the experience and skills required to rotate through all areas of diagnostic radiology.
