Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatrics

Shift: Days / 7a-5:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs  per week, M-F, no weekends, no on call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • 3 years current and strong Peds Cardiac Sono
  • 3 years’ experience in Echocardiography with a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, TEE's, and stress echocardiograms.
  • BLS
  • Registered Echo Sonographer (RDCS, ARDMS or CCI)
  • Registered Echo Sonographer Five

3 years current and strong Peds Cardiac Sono, • Registered Echo Sonographer (RDCS, ARDMS or CCI)
Registered Echo Sonographer Five (3) years’ experience in Echocardiography with a minimum of two years’ experience performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, TEE's, and stress echocardiograms.
This will be 50% administrative and 50% scanning
Coordinate and collaborate with leadership for clinical oversight of policies and procedures.
Responsible for daily technical operation of the echo lab including equipment maintenance and quality control.
Responsible for oversight of IAC standards, ICAEL accreditation and re-accreditation process.
Maintain electronic documents, audits, technical training and education of staff and physicians needed to retain accreditation.
Performs echocardiographic procedures, using specialized equipment, to measure, calculate, and report pertinent patient data facilitating accurate diagnostic outcome. Responsible for accreditation of lab.
Conducts Echocardiograms as requested throughout the Medical Center, including all patient rooms and emergency room.
Explains procedure to patients, provide instructions, obtain pertinent clinical data, and provide direct care to ensure patient comfort.
Recognizes artifacts, eliminates probable sources and troubleshoots minor equipment problems; processes images according to establish policies and procedures.
Performs data entry as it relates to procedures including charges pick lists, logbook, and schedule related functions to ensure corporate compliance
Practices radiation safety and ensures that other staff and students are compliant.
Analyzes, processes, and reports outcomes in a timely manner.
4- 10 hour shifts M-F, no weekends, no on call
