Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • VA license 
  • 2 years’ experience
  • BLS
Other Details:
  • All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
  • This 24(5) bed PCU specializes in the care of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and disease conditions, with emphasis on cardiothoracic post operative patients. Experience with these patients and equipment in the progressive care unit is required.
  • Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
PCU RN (7 South PCU)3/25 OR LATER START, 13 weeks3x12 hour nights, 7P-7AThis 24(5) bed PCU specializes in the care of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and disease conditions, with emphasis on cardiothoracic post operative patients.Experience with these patients and equipment in the progressive care unit is required.Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCUs and potentially Med Surg units
