Shift: Days / 8a-5:30p (8x5) 40 hours per week, M-F,  no holidays

Length: 14 Weeks
Requirements:
  • KY License
  • 2 years of recent (within the past 5 years) wound care experience
  • Looking for a capable RN with experience in caring for wound patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of this patient population
  • BLS
  • Preferred completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program

M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, no holidays. We are looking for a capable RN with experience in caring for wound patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of this patient population. BLS required. 2 years of recent (within the past 5 years) wound care experience. Preferred completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program.

Job description:
• Provides clinical guidance to physicians and other nursing staff regarding the management of wounds, pressure ulcers, and moisture management.
• Determines appropriate nursing interventions for identified patient problems, symptoms, and teaching needs in respect to wound care.
• Recommends the equipment, materials, and resources needed to successfully implement a wound care plan.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.
