Process Technician

Job DescriptionDirect Hire Process Technician Needed

Location: Cortland, NY

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday)

Pay Range: $23 – $25 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

•

• Process Control: Establish and maintain process control for all molding operations to ensure optimal performance and quality standards.
  \t
• Set-ups: Perform job changeovers, setting up equipment and machinery for production.
  \t
• Quality Assurance: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  \t
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance as required to keep equipment running smoothly.
  \t
• Labor Allocation: Collaborate with the Shift Manager to manage direct labor resources.
  \t
• Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Shift Manager on engineering, quality assurance, and ongoing improvements to molded products.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  \t
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
  \t
• 2 years of experience in plastics manufacturing or a related technical field preferred.
  \t
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics is a plus.
  \t
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities. However, the Process Technician may temporarily step into the Shift Manager role during their absence.
