Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day. We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Imaging Techs to join our team.
An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a per diem position with a monthly requirement of 12 hours. This is an onsite position at the Coxsackie EmUrgentCare, with some travel required.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

•\tProperly identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety in an outpatient urgent care setting
•\tAccurately select the correct patient, anatomy and protocols to complete exam
•\tConfirm, schedule and log completed radiologic procedures in computer and site schedules
•\tClean and always maintain equipment and examination rooms
•\tCollect vitals and brief medical history of patients
•\tDirecting patients to examination rooms
•\tEnsuring rooms are setup for efficient patient care
•\tOrdering and re-stocking of medical supplies
•\tTeam support to medical providers and front desk

Education Requirements:

•\tGraduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
•\tAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
•\tApplicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required

Experience:
•\tDemonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic x-ray procedures
•\tKnowledge of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics necessary to safely perform x-ray exams
•\tBasic knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology
•\tAbility to communicate clearly and provide routine diagnostic imaging procedures to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with consideration to cultural and developmental stages during the exam process
•\tMulti-tasking as a team player in a fast-paced setting
•\tExcellent customer service skills
