We are seeking a full-time salaried position for a Sales trainee/Merchandiser. We are a wine and spirits distributor serving all of Massachusetts.
Job Description:
As a sales trainee you will become familiar with our portfolio while merchandising in the stores in your scheduled customer area. The merchandiser assists with deliveries, displays and product placements in assigned stores. He or she will promote Ruby’s portfolio in our retail accounts.
Essential Duties:ALL\tMaximize product distribution within our customer base
•\tArrange schedule to be available at stores when needed including early AM hours
•\tPromote displays and utilize point of sale materials
•\tPerform proper shelf and display products to ensure no out of stocks
•\tBe able to do store resets that may be early or outside of their normal territory
•\tAbility to interact well we people
•\tMake effective use of your time.
•\tBecome familiar while learning and understanding the Ruby portfolio.
Job Requirements
•\tMust be able to lift a 50 lb case of wine frequently
•\tMust have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•\tGood organizational skills
•\tWork with minimal supervision
•\tAble and willing to work flexible hours including some weekends
•\tMust always maintain a professional appearance.
•\tMust have a well-maintained vehicle that is in good condition.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years of customer service/driving experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
•\t1-2 years alcohol/beverage industry experience
