Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse / Circulator
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Operating Room / Surgery Center
Location: Lynbrook, NY
Schedule: Full – Time, M-F 8:30AM-5PM
Pay: Based on Experience, plus full benefits

Currently seeking an Operating Room RN for an outpatient surgery center. The Operating Room RN duties to include but not be limited to:
•Supervises other personnel in the room and directs or assists as necessary
•Performs duties of circulating room nurse; assist with scrub duties as needed
•Positions patient, prepares operative area, and adjusts table to proper position according to standard policies
•Performs basic bedside care and identifies physical symptoms and changes to take appropriate action in a timely manner
•Start IVs
•Clinical documentation
•Patient education
•Sterilization of medical equipment and aseptic technique
• Monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting medical equipment

REQUIREMENTS:
•Graduate of accredited school of nursing
•NYS Registered Nurse Licensure
•Operating room experience
•Orthopedic experience highly preferred
•COVID Vaccine
