Job Description

Overview:


We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:



  • Setup and Running Vertical Milling Centers - (VMC)
  • Utilization of CAD/CAM Software, such as:

    • MasterCAM v. 2019 thru 2024 - Preferred
    • Autodesk -Fusion 360 
    • Power-Mill v. 2022 thru 2024 2D


  • 3D vertical milling
  • Supporting Jig, Fixture, and Hard Tool Builds 
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Experience in CNC machining Working With Tight Tolerances and a Basic Working Knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience in a shop or low-volume high mixed fabrication environment

Key Duties:



  • Set up machinery according to production schedule.
  • Inspect parts for proper documentation.
  • Run parts for production and assure that proper safety equipment is in use.
  • Place finished parts into designated containers. Ensure all material is clearly identified.
  • Ensure accuracy of completed work and computer entries.
  • Immediately inform Supervisor of any machine malfunction, Production, Quality or Safety issues.
  • Perform repetitive bending, reaching and lifting actions involving material weighing in excess of 10 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
  • Regularly inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure quality goals and zero defect criteria are met.
  • Perform all production duties according to established TS-16949 procedures.

Additional Duties:



  • Provide continual process improvement suggestions designed to improve quality and efficiency within operating area.
  • Perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain clean work environment.
  • Assist in material handling duties when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Department Leader.

Minimum Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience performing CNC bending functions in metal fabrication.

Schedule:



  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
