BayCare is actively seeking a dedicated Outpatient Occupational Therapist – Pediatrics who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our community. This outpatient Pediatric role involves working with a varied group of patients, from infants to school-aged children, with a significant number of cases involving developmental delays and children on the autism spectrum.

Occupational Therapist responsibilities:

  • An Occupational Therapist evaluates and develops tailored treatment programs for patients or residents, aligning with their needs and occupational therapy standards. 
  • Provide suitable clinical guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, as well as students and volunteers in the field. 
  • A licensed Occupational Therapist supervising permit holders may oversee only one permittee at a time.

Requirements:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • OT (Occupational Therapy)
  • Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
  • Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
  • Preferred 1 year Occupational Therapy

Location: South Florida Baptist Medical Arts Building Walden - Plant City, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: varies

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings,  3 = Nights,  4 = Varies

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No
