*Behavioral Health Technician Requirements:*
* High school diploma or similar - Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (preferred)
* Relevant certification or licensure (CRMA preferred)
* Experience working in mental health or substance abuse treatment settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

*Behavioral Health Technician Responsibilities:*
* Direct Patient Care: Provide direct care and support to individuals undergoing mental health and substance abuse treatment. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
* Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations by implementing appropriate interventions and de-escalation techniques. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, progress, and treatment interventions. Communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding patient needs and progress.
* Client Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals receiving treatment. Collaborate with individuals to develop and achieve personal goals.
* Collaborative Teamwork: Work collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.

*Bonus*: $1,000 for FTE ($500 at 6 months, $500 at 12 months of employment \*tenure must be completed for bonus retention)

*Pay:* $17-22/hour
