TITLE: OR Circulator / Nurse RN

What we're looking for:
Graduate of a nursing school with an Associates and Bachelors degree
Requires at least one year of recent perioperative nursing experience
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas, or immediate eligibility
Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment
CNOR certification preferred

Hours and compensation potential:
Full-time day shift position
Must be available for on-call duty 8 days per month with a 30-minute response time
Hourly rate ranges from $40 to $48 depending on experience
On-call pay and time-and-a-half compensation for callbacks
Comprehensive benefits package including CME allowance and sign-on bonus

What you'll be doing:
The Perioperative Staff RN utilizes the nursing process to collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures
Demonstrates expertise in providing care appropriate to different patient populations and stages of life
Conducts ongoing and systematic assessments, establishes nursing diagnoses, and predicts outcomes based on collected data
Coordinates and plans nursing care with a multidisciplinary team, administering appropriate clinical decisions to achieve desired outcomes
Implements interventions identified in the Plan of Care and evaluates patient progress
Provides patient and family education, administers medications, follows infection prevention protocols, and upholds patient rights
Exhibits adaptability, problem-solving skills, and professionalism at all times
Participates in program evaluation, process improvement, and continuing education
Maintains patient confidentiality, complies with regulatory standards, and contributes to survey readiness
Supports the growth and development of less experienced staff as a preceptor, mentor, and resource

5 OR suites, great team environment, reporting to the Director and OR Clinical Coordinator
