Bookkeeper

This opportunity performs a variety of general accounting support tasks for a multi-plant manufacturing company headquartered in the Metro Detroit area.
Responsibilities:

Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Great Plains accounting software
Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
Recording any inconsistencies to help reconcile inaccuracies
Consolidating information on inventory purchases and making sure it gets to the accounting staff
Managing employee expense claims, tying out company credit cards
Skills:
Proficient in general ledger reconciliation techniques
Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
Familiarity with budgeting principles and practices
Excellent 10key typing skills for accurate data entry
Proficiency in using accounting software Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics)
Ability to understand and apply debits and credits in financial transactions
Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
