Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. This is a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions of machined parts
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools
- Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects
- Test completed tools or dies to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with tooling or equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop new tooling designs or improve existing ones

Skills:
- Proficient in CAM programming for CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM)
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Competence in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Proficiency in operating milling machines and other machine tools
- Skilled in assembling tooling components accurately
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software for tool design
