*Job Description:*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team on a travel assignment in Albemarle, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while exploring a new location.

*Responsibilities:*
* Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
* Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
* Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures.
* Educate patients on childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

*Qualifications:*
* Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state license).
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery nursing.
* BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
