Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Technician for a seasonal reoccurring role for the State of Colorado.

Type: Temporary 9 months on full time, with 3 months off

Location: Windsor, CO

Pay: $24/hour

Shift: Mon - Friday 6AM - 5PM flexible time frames, or 4 10 hour shifts

Training in office required.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
- Assist with reviewing documents for accuracy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Assist with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide support during audits and assist with the resolution of any accounting discrepancies
- Office support and administrative duties

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
