*Position: *Telecom (Hospital Switchboard) Operator

*Location: *On-Site, 210 East Gray Street, Louisville, KY 40202

*Duration: *6+ month contract

*Shifts:* 3rd shift (9:30pm-6:00am)

As a Telecom Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and transferring calls for all of our Large Hospital locations. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in responding to emergency codes and paging physicians via phone.

*Key Responsibilities*:
* Handle incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
* Respond promptly and professionally to emergency codes, following established protocols.
* Page physicians and medical staff as required, ensuring clear and concise communication.
* Maintain accurate call logs and records of all communications.
* Assist callers with inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

*Qualifications*:
* Call center experience (preferred).
* Familiarity with Epic or other EMR systems (preferred) or any EMR exposure.
* Strong customer service skills (required).
* Proficiency in computer operations (required).
* Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex procedures and systems quickly.
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergencies.
* Punctuality and reliability are essential.
* Medical record experience or exposure is beneficial.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
