Journeyman Electrician

Commercial Electrician Journeyman Overview

Role as an Electrician Journeyman Wireman for installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state and local electrical codes along with all company policies and procedures. Support tasks in commercial structures to include medical offices, retail chains and other commercial structures.

Projects Responsibilities & Requirements:

* Commercial Project Bending pipe, mostly EMT in ½”, ¾”, 1” to include 90° Stub-Up, Back to Back, Offset, Saddle bends. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes, set fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices
* Additional Abilities: Lift 50 lbs from ground and pull 50 lbs of force; Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling. Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lb tool belt. Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires. Work off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

* Electrical Experience: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

* Electrical License (Preferred)
