Medical Phone Operator

_*Responsibilities:*_
* Greet patients and visitors warmly, maintaining eye contact upon entering the facility
* Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately
* Exhibit friendliness and courtesy in interactions with patients and co-workers
* Efficiently manage patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and demographic verification
* Collect co-pays and handle financial transactions with accuracy
* Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient information confidentiality
* Inform patients of any appointment delays and manage concerns with professionalism
* Maintain a clean, organized front office, ensuring all supplies are well-stocked
* Print office charges, attach registration and insurance card along with the authorization and prep for the billers
* Put Post Op memos on surgical patient’s accounts
* Make sure hospital charges are organized and prep for the billers
_*Qualifications:*_
* HS Diploma or GED Required
* 2+ years of strong experience in a Medical Front Desk, Phone Operator, Dispatcher, or Medical Receptionist role
* Must be committed, friendly, and customer service driven
* Bilingual in Spanish & English (a plus, but not required)
