Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, social, and emotional concerns.
Serve as a resource for teachers and staff on issues related to student behavior, mental health, and learning strategies.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate interventions.
Stay current on best practices in the field of school psychology and participate in professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
Previous experience working as a school psychologist preferred.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
