Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of landscaping, irrigation systems, and mechanical skills.

Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems

- Perform regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of the system

- Adjust sprinkler heads and water flow rates as needed

- Replace or repair damaged components such as valves, pipes, and timers

- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure efficient watering schedules

- Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation

- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Experience:

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation system installation/repair

- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in landscaping

- Familiarity with mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics for irrigation systems

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
