Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively in a team environment.

Prepare the serving area for meals and special events.

Ensure proper stocking of serving area items.

Maintain food safety standards, including recording temperatures and following HACCP procedures.

Greet and serve food to residents, guests, and employees.

Interact positively with customers and provide excellent customer service.

Clean and maintain the serving area during and after meal service.

Maintain proper serving temperatures and serving times.

Organize special events and assist customers as needed.

Adhere to departmental standards of dress and demonstrate effective customer service skills.

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or GED.

Experience: 6 months of food preparation and/or food serving experience in a continuing care retirement community or restaurant establishment.
