We are hiring a Full-time Assistant for our Social Service & Activities Departments.

White Oak of Tryon is seeking a motivated assistant to fill our social services & activities assistant position. The assistant will support social services in meeting resident social and/or emotional needs that affect the residents' ability to achieve their highest practicable psychological well being. They will participate in the development of residents' comprehensive care plans, follow policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. In addition, they will assist the Activity Director in the responsibilities for developing and maintaining a program of activities designed to promote the physical, mental and psychological well-being of each residents'.needs and implement appropriate action.

Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, and physicians. The assistant desires to build on the employee engagement and excels in being part of the weekend/weekday team to encourage collaborative team work.

Experience in social services, long-term care and/or healthcare experience is preferred.
