Seeking an experienced Lab Manager to direct sampling, preparation, analytical and marketing operations for the laboratory by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers and/or supervisors.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinates the preparation and analytical operations in accordance with industry standards and methods.
* Directs and advises personnel in test procedures.
* Analyzes test information to determine capability of equipment and to diagnose malfunctions.
* Assists staff in solving work problems.
* Confers with technical staff to conduct analyses, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.
* Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
* Established or adjusts work procedures to meet testing schedules.
* Recommends measures to improve testing procedures and use of equipment.
* Reviews production cost and product quality, and modifies production to maintain & enhance profitable operation of the lab.
* Recommends budget to divisional or corporate management.
* Assists with preparation of accounting records.
* Maintains time and testing records.
* Approves lab expenses/purchases.
* Reviews customer’s invoices.

*Requirements*

*1. Bachelor’s Degree.*

*2. 3 or more years of Lab Management or Supervisory experience.*
