CNA - Customer Service Concierge

Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and families throughout the duration of the stay (especially during the admission and discharge process) in a manner that is caring, compassionate and customer-oriented and in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
*Experience:*
Minimum of six months experience in a long-term care or other geriatric care environment is preferred.
This position requires candidate to have top notch customer service skills and an outgoing and energetic personality. Looking for someone that ALWAYS has a smile on their face and our residents and visitors see it daily.
*Essential Job Duties:*
1. Provides service, support and care to residents and family members throughout the admissions process and builds rapport to establish an ongoing positive relationship.
2. Orients the resident and family members to his/her room and the facility.
3. Understands and properly addresses resident and family needs throughout the resident’s stay.
4. Handles concerns or issues the resident and/or family member may have with the facility, involves the appropriate facility representatives in the process and communicates the concern/issue and the outcome to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
5. Routinely makes rounds and responsively provides proper resident care and service.
6. Listens to customers and resolves issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
7. Assists the resident and family members with the discharge process.
8. Coordinates facility meetings with families and the appropriate facility management.
9. Assesses residents for condition changes and reports to nurse supervisor.
10. Understands and accommodates the residents and family members with any special needs.
11. Answers resident call lights promptly and courteously.
12. Schedules and provides facility tours for inquiries and prospects, including families.
13. Assists with the admissions process as needed and welcomes new residents and families to the facility.
14. Periodically makes recommendations to the Director of Nursing and Administrator to enhance the level of
customer service provided throughout the facility.
15. Communicates changes and follows plan of care effectively by recording changes in charts.
16. Other job duties assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
