As an Associate Clinical Director, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing clinical treatment services for the respective branch location to include Refugee and Immigrant Services. This individual will ensure the highest quality care and supervision of the youth being served. The Associate Clinical Director must ensure that all employed staff have good moral character, are emotionally stable, and able to perform the essential functions of their job role.

This position will also ensure that all treatment components are being delivered effectively and meet the needs of all the applicable program’s requirements and agency expectations.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, direct, and lead direct reports to include but not limited to the Refugee and Immigrant Services Lead and other program supervisors, while facilitating weekly supervision meetings in accordance with agency expectations;
Provide indirect leadership at staff meetings to ensure all facets of treatment plans are successfully implemented;
Cultivate a positive, team centered work environment with high staff morale;
Ensure program requirements are being met in accordance with COA and ORR standards;
Implement and enhance the use of trauma-responsive Sanctuary model of care in certified programs;
Monitor the assessment and treatment process for clients by supervising the program supervisors, and making sure treatment is effectively implemented with accurate written plans;
Coordinate outside professional consultation to include psychiatric and psychological expertise, when needed;
Ensure all documentation for consultations is completed in a timely and effective manner;
Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures for staff evaluations, training requests, timekeeping, and reimbursement requests;
Maintain the current Evidence-Based Theory (EBT) model and find opportunities to expand the model;
Maintain a current awareness of current trends and practices, and recommend changes to policies and procedures, as needed; • Serve as a clinical consultant, when needed;
Assist in the development, updating, and maintenance of program operating manuals;
Maintain, enhance, and develop positive working relationships with referral sources, state and federal agencies, volunteer and community agencies, employers, and individuals;
Attend local and national meetings that will enhance provision of services to clients;
May be required to attend branch leadership meetings, as requested;
Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services;
Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s level degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent field of study;
At least five (5) years of experience in a clinical treatment setting;
Possess full licensure in the state of Maryland;
At least three (3) years of experience in clinical supervision;
Bilingual Spanish/English fluency, preferred;
Successfully pass a TB test annually and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary treatment team;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions;
Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience in the US to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;
Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
Documentation of immunity to vaccine preventable diseases or the willingness to receive vaccination, or seeking an exemption;
Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.
