Registered Nurse, LTAC

Hourly: $58
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Assist in medical procedures, including cardiac catheterization and sterile processing
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation
- Practice aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment
- Provide triage support to assess patient needs and prioritize care accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in WV
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience in Acute Care, ICU or step-down settings
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus
- Strong assessment skills and ability to make critical decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
