Responsibilities

The Apprentice- Carpenter is responsible for assisting with various constructions jobs and repairs. This position ensures all products meet company standards while complying with company policies and safety standards. Experience in carpentry, as well as a strong focus on detail and quality, is required.

Job Duties

· Has completed all qualifications for the Trainee- Carpenter

· Minimum of one year of carpentry experience or trade school certificate

· Familiar with most machinery and power tools in shop

· Operates machinery and power tools safely and efficiently

· Stack, stage and correctly label all jobs

· Responsible for checking accuracy of own work and filling out paperwork properly

· Takes initiative, is self-sufficient and sets a good example for other team members

· Is increasingly able to work from specification books and shop drawings, asks supervisor for clarification when appropriate

Skills and Qualifications

· Reliable transportation

· Ability to work with a team and be adaptable to a changing environment
