Accounts Receivable Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following:
Accounts Receivable
Prepare invoices using information from project managers/operations.
Analyze supporting documents to ensure the accuracy of the invoice.
Ensure that the proper tax exemption certificates are obtained.
Submit invoices on various customer portals.
Process deposits and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
Maintain relationships with customers’ accounts payable.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain Accounts Payable vendors in accounting system.
Function as a backup for various functions in the Finance Team.
Skills / Experience necessary
High school diploma
2-5 years accounting experience
Knowledge of basic accounting practices.
Willingness to learn accounting practices and procedures.
Must possess excellent organizational skills.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office experience required including proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
Quick Books experience preferred.
