DAY TO DAY AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
As a new Registered Nurse (RN) at Texas Fertility Center, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling role providing patient-centered care. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with our team of fertility specialists to deliver exceptional care to our patients by performing the following:
Educate patients about their infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures.
Coordinate patient treatment plans, provide injection training, and triage patient questions throughout their fertility treatment journey.
Ensure patient pre-cycle requirements are met prior to starting treatment and maintain communication with them about their next steps in the process.
Collaborate with Physicians, IVF Lab, Surgery Center, and Billing teams to ensure a smooth treatment experience for the patient and clinic.
Assist Physician with lab reviews and patient communications.
Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately.
Administer injections as needed.
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their partners.
Other nursing duties as assigned.
Your expected schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a rotation for weekends and holidays.

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS REGISTERED NURSE (RN) JOB?
To excel in the role of a Registered Nurse (RN) at Texas Fertility Center, certain skills and competencies are necessary. You should have a strong foundation in clinical nursing practices, including proficiency in performing assessments, administering medications, and handling medical equipment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively interacting with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. In addition to clinical skills, proficiency in using various software and tools is required. Accurately documenting patient information and maintaining organized records is essential.
You should also be comfortable using communication platforms and online scheduling tools to facilitate seamless coordination and collaboration within the team. As a problem solver, attention to detail, critical thinking, and adaptability are valued qualities. You will handle multiple tasks concurrently, so the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively is crucial.
