Job Summary for Extrusion Screw Operator: We have an immediate opening for a skilled Manual Extrusion Operator with experience in the production of human or pet food. This position is based in Willmar, Minnesota and offers a sign-on bonus as well as relocation assistance. Both day shift and night shift roles are available from Monday to Thursday, with each shift lasting 10 hours.

Responsibilities of the Extrusion Screw Operator:

Operate and maintain the extruder machine, including startup, running, troubleshooting, shutdown, and cleaning.
Collaborate with the Supervisor to ensure timely completion of production runs according to orders.
Monitor and record various factors such as salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels in the product.
Ensure quality assurance of the processed product.

Education & Experience for Extrusion Screw Operator:

Previous experience in extrusion is required.
Experience with Screw Configuration is necessary.
Experience in a manufacturing environment for human food or pet food is essential.
Basic mathematical skills are required.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret process instructions from manuals.
Availability to work 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, either on the day shift (6am-6pm) or night shift (6pm-6am), with occasional weekend overtime.
