Sanitation Technician

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in our Fulfillment Center, following the guidance of the Sanitation Manager, Supervisor, or Lead/Specialist. Duties include cleaning building and equipment according to a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), utilizing various sanitation chemicals effectively. Capable of performing chemical concentration checks, correcting sanitizer concentrations, and identifying and removing different soil types. Safely operates sanitation equipment and understands pH levels for solution adjustments.

*Required:*
* *1 - 3 years experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred*
* *High School Education*
* Mechanical aptitude for food processing equipment disassembly and reassembly, with a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* Excellent safety practices, with experience in OSHA programs.
* Ability to obtain safety certifications within the first year.
* Familiarity with PIT Equipment and a commitment to obtaining related certifications within six months.
* Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and the capacity to acquire sanitation certificates within the first year.
* Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Capacity to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Team player mentality with experience in food manufacturing preferred.
* Successful completion of drug and background screenings post-offer.
* Flexibility for overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
* Sustain productivity in a refrigerated environment(32º-38ºF)
