*In-house therapy team, smaller daily caseloads with emphasis on optimizing time with patients, high acuity, and program and certification support*

*Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients. If CFY, must be under supervision as needed from the SLP clinical supervisor (SLP clinical supervisor available upon starting).
* Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.
* Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
* Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.
* Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
* Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
* Maintain productivity standards as expected by Director of Rehab or Administrator.

*Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:*
* Current Texas licensure as a Speech Therapist or Speech Therapy CFY
* New grads welcome to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $63.00 per hour
