*Job description-*

Set-up, operate or tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines.

*Duties:*
* Basic knowledge of welding processes, such as gas metal arc, plasma arc, and resistance welding.
* Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
* Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
* Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of material.
* Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
* Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
* Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
* Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools.

*Top 3 Skills we are looking for:*
* Mig Welding experience
* General construction
* Mechanical amplitude

*Qualifications:*
* This role requires some Mig welding experience.
* Some flux core welding experience is good to have as well.
* The candidate will need to have measuring, cutting, grinding, and tool experience.
* Some overhead crane and scissor lift experience is a plus. 50% of the role will be welding.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Shift:
* Evening shift
Weekly day range:
* Monday to Friday
