Genie Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a 13 Week contract in Middleburg Heights, OH.

Shift: 7P-7A

Hourly Rate: $60

Setting: Long Term Acute Care

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient education on various health conditions and treatment options
- Assist with procedures such as gastric lavage, family planning, and basic life support
- Manage airway and provide airway management when necessary
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide trauma medicine as needed

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in OH
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and medical documentation
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $60.00 per hour
