Trash man

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Trash Man to join our waste management team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collect and dispose of trash along designated routes efficiently and safely.

Duties:
- Drive a trash collection vehicle along assigned routes
- Collect trash from residential and commercial areas
- Empty trash receptacles into the garbage truck
- Operate hydraulic lifts to empty bins into the truck
- Ensure adherence to waste disposal regulations and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on the garbage truck as needed

Experience:
- Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred
- Ability to load and unload waste containers
- Customer service skills for interacting with residents or business owners
- Experience with van or refrigerated trailer driving is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse operations
- Knowledge of tractor-trailer driving techniques
